This quote encompasses the life of today’s guest. Ms. Rupangi Sharma, a bibliophile at heart, is a published author and editor based in Mumbai. She has been an editor for India Alive, a magazine that raises various viewpoints about various issues that plague India’s consciousness, and has published works like ‘ A Loving Embrace’ which is a collection of poems, and a novel called ‘A Life of my own’ that speaks about gender-biased sex selection. Along with being an accomplished author, she is also the founder and CEO of EFG learning, a program that encourages creative learning. She developed this method in her first year of teaching and introduced the subject ‘ creative learning’ which has helped enhance the regular school curriculum.


In today’s episode, Ms. Rupangi takes us through her journey as an author and how the process shaped her life. Her love affair with reading led to her tryst with writing from a very young age. She shares with us her inspiration for her book “A life of my own” and the power of books to start conversations. From breaking down the process of publishing a book and walking us through the editing procedure, she also throws light on the common traps aspiring writers can fall into and provides ways to tackle them.
